At EECC, learning goes beyond theory. Our training approach emphasizes hands-on experience, guided practice, and professional mentorship to ensure students develop the competence, confidence, and ethical grounding required in counselling practice.
Through structured in-person sessions held at our Embulbul Campus (Mary Mother of God Catholic Church), Diploma and Certificate students participate in immersive learning activities designed to strengthen practical counselling skills and professional awareness.

Counselling Psychology: Schedule for Year 2026
Each semester will begin and end with Holy Mass, and all students are expected to attend. End-of-Semester Examinations will be held from Monday, 10th August 2026 to Thursday, 13th August 2026. To support quality curriculum delivery and professional ethical standards, all students are required to attend one full week of onsite classes from Monday, 22nd June 2026 to Friday, 26th June 2026. This on-site session helps students gain practical grounding in Counselling practice. All Semester One students are required to enrol for the Micro-Counselling Skills and Techniques unit, which will be offered during the onsite week. Group Supervision is mandatory for all students undertaking practicum.
